Many of my clients come to me with jobs that are not very fulfilling.
Sometimes these clients are ready for a new job. But many others are planning to stay in the job they have, at least for the short-to-medium term. This episode is about what we do for these clients who choose to stay where they are, at least for now.
I share at least 8 "games" you can play at work. I give a few thoughts on how you might choose which game to pick + some best practices for playing any game.
Maybe playing a new game at work for a week can be a nice way to re-energize yourself, even if you don't find your job wildly unfulfilling. I think most people might benefit from it, in one way or another.
Also referenced in this episode is the 3-part series that is Episode 75, 76, + 77: Making sure there's still energy in the tank at the end of the workweek.

In this episode, I talk about "Felt-Sense Pricing" — a concept that can help you with setting any kind of price, or in any kind of financial negotiation.
This idea might seem a little wacky, especially if you are a cerebral, analytical, pro-con-list, kinda person.
To explain the concept, I share 3 stories, 1 about me + 2 about some other folks. Then I point out the process that we followed, and how you might follow it too.
If you have an upcoming need to set a price, or ask for a salary, or negotiate anything at all, I hope this is a helpful idea to chew on.

In my experience, novelty can be like a life coaching equivalent of a dietary supplement. I make that analogy because adding novelty to your life can seem like it doesn't have to do with anything, but it ends up boosting your energy + your sense of meaning.
In this episode, I share what I mean by novelty and give my recommended novelty protocol. I also share a few real client situations where adding novelty made a difference, so you can see if it feels like it would be helpful for you.
Have you considered adding some novelty to your life lately? It might be just what you need.

Meditation is something that many of us know would serve us - but it also sounds kind of hard or difficult.
My approach to meditation feels like it has more ease and spaciousness than what I hear a lot of people doing. So, today, I wanted to talk about it.
In this episode, I'm sharing what I've gained from meditation, practical instructions for how I do it, why I think this particular form is helpful for connecting with your inner navigational equipment, and tips for beginners.
I hope this episode encourages you to give it a try.

I recently sent an email to my newsletter community about the importance of having some energy in your tank at the end of your workweek. (You can read the email at https://www.katieseaver.com/best-life-coach-blog/a-goal-for-you)
A newsletter reader, Rachel, wrote in asking about how to make this happen. This multi-part series is a response to her email, with some practical tips on conserving your energy at work, without reducing the quality of our contributions.
In this episode, I share two of the most common things holding people back from saving energy + how to fix them.
I think that so many of us would benefit from a bit more fuel in our tanks at the end of the workweek. I hope this gives you some encouragement + the tactical ideas to make that a reality.

In this episode I answer a listener question about knowing what you want.
The listener, Stephanie, wrote in saying that she's struggling to make a huge decision. What she actually wants doesn't feel like a realistic option, so she's left choosing between options she doesn't want.
I wanted to answer this question because I think it gets at a human reality that isn't discussed enough - that sometimes our options are bad.
I walk Stephanie through how I would advise her to move forward and offer her some specific questions to consider to guide her through this difficult decision.
I hope this provides Stephanie, and anyone struggling with a tough decision with bad options, some tactical ideas + more reflection on the situation to find Rightness in your own way.

So many folks say, "I'm bad at making decisions" or "I struggle to make decisions." While that may *feel* true, it can also become its own self-perpetuating cycle, making you feel even more self-doubt, stress, and confusion.
I've found it's far more helpful to say: "I'm working on making decisions more effectively — and here's what I'm changing."
Of course...then you need to know what you *are* working on. So in this episode, I'm sharing 9 specific ways you can get better at making decisions. I hope you'll find at least one (or more!) that you can dig your teeth into.
