A not so fun episode as I read the short story The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas by Ursula K. Le. Guin at the very beginning as I feel like that story becomes more and more relevant to current state of the world and just how much will we allow the suffering of others (specifically black and brown people) to occur while we live in the comforts that comes from that suffering.

I also kind of go on a tangent about Jackson Wang and his fan interactions, I've become a recent fan of his as of late so I wanted to talk about my observations.

At the very end if that's all you care to hear I talk about Tomie the manga and the live action movie that came out in 1998. Skip all the way to that if want.

Finally talking about a horror movie again with Emilie Blichfeldt's directorial debut The Ugly Stepsister (2025)! I mainly forcus on this movie and the original Brother's Grimm fairy tale (more or less as you know I am prone to tangents lol). I even read the original story at the very beginning! So enjoy that as well (somehow this pod is turning into an audio book page lol).

Fun title but not so fun season finale of Will Trent Season 3 D^;

I'm talking the last 3 episdoes of Will Trent's Season 3, But I'm A Cheerleader (1999) and Bottoms (2023)!

I had recorded this last weekend (which is why I talk about Head in the Clouds fest as if its happening next weekend lol) but held off on posting it so that I could get back into my Friday upload schedule! So hopefully from now on I'm back to posting on Fridays!

I'm back!

From an unexpected non-vacation! I was preparing to move/moved to a new place! I'm mostly settled in now so I will be back to doing regular weekly updates again!

I catch up with Will Trent episodes, the end of White Lotus season 3 as well as talk about Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 (2025), Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can't Sing (2025) and of course Sinners! (2025).

Haven't just talked about these two shows in a while so lets get caught up on them together!

I can't believe it but I've made it to 10 episodes! And to celebrate I thought it would be fun to have on my first guest, my good friend Lonnie Taylor! Hear us yap about music videos and coming of age movies from the 90s and early 2000's!

A little bit of a late upload but we're doing it! Or am I on time? Either way thought I was going to upload this on Sunday but then I realized the Oscars was happening and what kind of pod would I be if I didn't talk about them? Plus I needed to offshoot my upload schedule a bit and get back to uploading on Fridays!

I also let the fandom come over me and talk about GD's new album, my love of Sarah Brightman and the lastest Will Trent episode!

Talking about the tv show Will Trent's lastest season while also summarizing the other three seasons, The Colors Within (2024) an anime movie, and Companion (2025).
