In this week’s episode of Now Ya Simi, we’re embracing the bizarre transition from summer to fall as stores roll out pumpkins, Halloween décor and all things spooky while we’re still sweating through the SoCal heat.

We’re talking about what’s happening around Simi Valley and Ventura County, including Mean Girls: The Musical at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, Broadway Here We Come benefiting Meals on Wheels, and Wheels in Motion, at Rancho Susana Community Center.

Then we get into the truly important news: Fall décor is already taking over at Aldi, and the pumpkin-shaped pet beds and seasonal goodies are making it very difficult to remember that it is, in fact, still August.
