Happy New Year! Our first podcast of 2023. Our readings this Sunday were about covenant renewal. The scriptures include Isaiah 63:7-9, Psalm 148, & Hebrews 2:10-18.

The 4th Sunday of Advent. The readings this Sunday were from Isaiah 7:10-16, Psalm 80, Romans 1:1-7, & Matthew 1:18-25.

This past week Pastor Jeffrey sat down with Pastor Coulter Conner, previously the youth pastor at Hillside Christian Church he is now the pastor at Christ's Church of Labette County in Altamont, Kansas. Their discussion ranges from the historic creeds of the Christian church, community, and if it is necessary in this life for a Christian to suffer for Christ.

The third Sunday of Advent 2022. The readings for this Sunday were Isaiah 35:1-10, Psalm 146, James 5:7-10, & Matthew 11:2-11

Pastor Jeffrey was able to sit down with Rev. Dr. James Dunn, the current president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville Oklahoma. They talk about higher education for Nowata area youth, what OKWU has to offer that other state schools don't, and what goes into forming good people in the future. In light of today's anxieties around CRT, wokism, and ideological drift in institutions, this conversation is more interesting than one might think on first glance.

2nd Sunday of Advent. The readings this week were Isaiah 11:1-10, Psalm 72, Romans 15:4-13, & Matthew 3:1-12
