  • #174 Lynn Espejo Wrongfully Convicted & Sentenced to 45 Months in Fed Prison... Recorded 6/7/21
In this episode I am talking to Lynn Espejo who was suggested that I have her on my show to tell her story. Lynn was sentenced to 45 months in federal prison.

Here is a little bit about Lynn:
Lynn Espejo lives in Sherwood, Arkansas. She is a wife, mother to three grown sons and a very old and spoiled French bulldog. Lynn has a BBA in Accounting and a BBA in Finance and an MS in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling. She spent many years working in the corporate business world and has owned her own small business.
Lynn is a Christ follower. She also volunteers her time working with food pantries, the homeless, and those less fortunate. She and her husband, Pancho, volunteer their time helping with their church’s Share Your Lunch program. SYL, since its inception in 2017, has provided over 23,000 bags of groceries to individuals and families, as well as weekend backpacks of food to elementary age children, in partnership with local schools in the Central Arkansas area.
Lynn was indicted in the Eastern District of Arkansas on March 2, 2011, however, that indictment was dismissed in May 2012. She was indicted on the same charges on October 8, 2014, after she refused to give up claim to monies seized by the federal government during her 2011 indictment, and dared to complain all the way to Washington, D.C., regarding the corruption and prosecutorial misconduct she experienced from staff at the US Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Arkansas and an Agent at the Internal Revenue Service.
She was convicted on February 8, 2017, after an eight-day jury trial, and was sentenced to 45-months in federal prison, of which she served 27 months, before being released to home confinement during COVID-19. Her blog, Inside-The-Walls, started out as a way for her to vent her frustration at being indicted and convicted for a crime she did not commit, and what she saw as a broken criminal justice system.
However, it soon became a voice against the corruption, fraud, and violation of inmate rights she witnessed while incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp Bryan located in Bryan, Texas. Many times, Lynn was subjected to retaliation by BOP staff for continuing to blog while incarcerated.
During her incarceration, Lynn taught classes to other inmates, including classes on women’s value, worth, and self-esteem. She also volunteer tutored inmates with their college business classes, worked as a clerk in the Reentry Department, and took Cosmetology classes. She gained recognition from other inmates for her knowledge of BOP Program Statements, which allowed her to help many women fight false incident reports and retaliation by BOP staff.
During COVID-19, Lynn spent almost 100 days in solitary confinement, and was quarantined in the Men’s Maximum-Security Special Housing Unit (SHU) at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before being released to home confinement under the Cares Act. Lynn continues to advocate for inmates and their rights, and wishes to help all women realize their value and worth. She wants to bring awareness to, and expose the corruption, that is our country’s criminal justice system. Lynn’s radio show Inside-The-Walls & Beyond focuses on women’s issues as they journey through the criminal “injustice” system.

After a year of suffering from two serious undiagnosed tick-borne diseases, my husband and I thought we were dying. • Dr. Dave Bettenhausen & Carla Bogni-Kidd 3x Authors Talk About Spirituality & Reincarnation... Recorded 4/19/2021

    BIO:

    *

Dr. Dave Bettenhausen serves part-time, as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at a small midwestern hospital presently. He retired last year after twenty-five years as a physician and ten previous years as a cardiac nurse. Carla Bogni-Kidd retired last year after forty years of office managing for Dave and his predecessor.

    *

Dave and Carla have been the best of friends since 1998 when Dave purchased the medical practice where Carla was the office manager. Together, they have been on a spiritual journey since beginning meditation in 2014. They have written three books with one more releasing in 2021. The first, “The Gift of Past Lives with Mother, Isabella, God & Elizabeth” is the story of how they learned they have lived 29 past lives together.

    *

Their second book, Hell No, Reincarnation? is their reconciliation of their upbringing in Catholicism and other religions with what they now learned and believe about reincarnation. The Manual explores just how God creates us and how that relates to our Angels, Spirit Guides, astrology, traits and archetypes.

Dave and Carla have taught meditation at their local University as well at their Senior Center and services organizations. They trained with Dr. and Mrs. Brian Weiss at The Omega Institute in Past Life Regression after writing their first two books to learn more about regression therapy.

    *

Their common goal is to share the message with the world that if you follow five simple rules which are to live without conceit, jealousy, selfishness, and unforgiveness and do everything in love, you can liberate yourself from the wheel of karma and reincarnation, returning home with God, Source, Tao, Creator. The answer is always LOVE.

  • Tragedy to Triumph, Portia Louder Shares about Spending 4.5 Years in Federal Prison... Recorded 6/16/2021

In this episode I am talking to Portia Louder about her story and how it led her to being sentenced to 4.5 years in federal prison. Portia and I crossed paths after she reached out to me after hearing or seeing a guest appearance that I did on a podcast called "Louder Now". We had a phone conversation, set up a date to record and I had to cancel because I went back to work. Another cool fact about something we both share. Both of us have been to The Other Side Academy to tell our stories.

    *

    *

Here is a little bit about Portia from her:

    *

Portia Louder, built a photography company that photographed 200 weddings a year in Utah, and surrounding states. She became involved in real estate in 2004 and was investigated and indicted for mortgage fraud. Portia was sentenced to a 7 year prison sentence, and served 4.5 years in federal prison, in California, and Minnesota.

    *

She has documented much of that experience on her blog and Facebook page. She addresses addiction, loneliness, self awareness, and what it takes to move past mistakes and setbacks in life. Portia developed a love and sisterhood with the women she met in prison, and just finished writing a book highlighting many of their stories.

    *

Portia has been married to her husband Chad for 24 years; they have 5 children and one grandchild and live in Highland Utah. She currently works at a treatment center helping women work through trauma, and overcoming addiction.

    *

    *

What bottom or life struggle would you like to share with our audience?  * Taking full ownership brought power back into my life to look forward, set goals, and dream again. Accountability is freedom for me. Every struggle had the seeds of transformation. It's up to me to decide how my story ends and I want an amazing ending!

  • Sam Tripoli (Tin Foil Hat Podcast), Truthzilla, & Debra Gets Red Pilled...Recorded 4/11/21

I am currently running through the livestreams I did and haven't put the audio out as an episode yet. I have a folder of almost 30 to run through. I'll add the date recorded to the title like I did in this one. So you will at least know what time period we are talking about if we mention any current events. This recording has been up on my YouTube channel since the day I recorded it. I'm just adding it to my podcast library.

I was going to add all of the links to these shows but 2 of them are no longer recording. Sam Tripoli is still rockin it!  Just look his name up and you can find all the places he is at. Some socials got cancelled so any links I had from then might not be good now. So my bad....I have some great conversations to get out still even if some of them are from 3 years ago.

I created a poll over on Spotify and the question is...Do you want to hear the unpublished older content that I have? So if you want to answer that yes or no question head over to this episode on Spotify.

  • "That's Why We Need to Bring Back TRUMP" Song Creators Sandy & Roger Share…
In this episode I am talking to Sandy Koplowitz and Roger Homefield whom my friend Adrienne introduced me to. Now just because I like their song doesn't mean that I am supporting Trump. If you watch or listen to the episode I tell you how I feel about him and what I think about another 4 years of Trump. Below is the back story of how this song was born.
Sandy brought Roger his lyrics for a pro-Trump parody, even though Roger hadn't sung or performed in 15 years and had become a political activist hosting his own "The Joe Citizen Show."  Roger modified the tempo and keys of Rogers and Hart's "The Lady is a Tramp" sung by Frank Sinatra for Sandy's new version for Roger to belt out criticism of Democrats and praise for Trump's accomplishments.  A musical weapon aimed at Trump's adversaries and deploring Biden's mismanaging America. Roger did an amazing job fitting his vocals into the song with the band, with Sandy's lyrics hitting the hot spots to help voters make the right decisions before America slips away for good, if Biden wins another term.
Homefield was lead jazz trombonist with the Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton, and Maynard Ferguson big bands and was "Joe Citizen" on his pro-American radio show, composer for his orchestra, and arranged music for his musical variety act. Koplowitz and Homefield met playing senior softball.  A long-time member of the American Mensa Society, Sandy was a computer programmer for IBM and today he and Gabi, his opera-singing fiancée, perform singing gigs entertaining residents at assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
