Arizona Hands and Voices is a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families and their children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as the professionals who serve them.
When parents are told that their child is deaf or hard of hearing, the news is most often a shock. Many will go through a grieving process, and feel that all hopes and dreams they had for their child have been shattered.
The organization is a parent-driven, parent/professional collaborative group that is unbiased towards communication modes and methods. Their diverse membership includes those who are deaf, hard of hearing, and their families who communicate orally, with signs, cue, and/or combined methods. Arizona Hands and Voices exists to help children reach their highest potential.
