If you get close enough to God you'll begin to hear things and see things that others can't see. So what are you praying for? What are seeking after? God wants to save every person in the world. God is trying to do a work in each and every person but we must stay the course. So you want to be closer to God? Get the sin out of your life, ask God to arrest your soul. You state you don't want God to be your number one and care nothing about those things, you need to be saved!

Life comes from life. One can't build something out of death.

What does "seven" mean in the Word of God? In the beginning you'll find that on the seventh day it is the sabbath, seven days in a week. In Leviticus you'll find that during the teaching of sacrificing they were to sprinkle the blood seven times. Lepers when healed were to be sprinkled seven times with the doves blood. In Joshua 6 they were to march and around Jericho seven days and on the seventh day to blow the trumpets and then the walls fell. The leper Naman was healed only after dipping seven times.

In Revelations, seven stars and seven candle sticks and seven strong churches. Seven seals, trumpets, plaques and wraths all in seven years. Matthew, Luke and John all wrote down their views that Jesus spoke during the crucifixion.

Luke 23:34 - Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

John 19:26-27 - Woman, behold thy son! Behold thy mother!

Luke 23:43 - Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Matthew 27:46 - My God, my God, why hath thou forsaken thee?

John 19:28 - I thirst.

Luke 23:46 - Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.

John 19:30 - It is finished

What God does is perfect and complete.

Elijah prayed for rain and within hours it was raining but shortly after during his miracle the enemy came to him. The goal was not about rain, it was about men changing their hearts towards God. When the enemy came to Elijah he ran off away from the enemy. If a man like Elijah could be caught in a snare all the while in Gods miracles, how could we do it? Have you ever been there in great despair? Have you ever prayed, studied, worked and fasted but nothing happened? We can't make someone get saved, change them or make certain things happen by our doings. During Elijah's despair there was no body around to help him in his time of need. No one was their to help him see that God was still there when the enemy was punching him in the gut. In your work place, if you don't perform your job then there is no paycheck. But in God work, He already knows your work and your payout isn't truly based on your work. Think about when the preachers preach and the response is great from the congregation. But thinking about the same thing and on Sunday nights folks nap during the service. Have you as a church member ever thought about cancelling a church service because no one is there in attendance? Nothing gets done when we wallow in our disappointments. Have you ever known God not to be with you? Gods people will end up in despair at some point in their Christian walk but they always end up at Gods feet. God will pick them up and put them back on their journey each and every time. So when you get disappointed, you'll sit down, backslide.
