  • Stex - Back In 95
This release has a special place in my own journey in drum ‘n’ bass.
Back In 95 sets the dark mood immediately with that high-tension pad without any time signature. The drums are cutting edge and hypnotic. The bassline is dark, foreboding and constantly evolving.
Back in 95 has everything you could ever want from a drum ’n’ bass track and more, and it’s well up there with the most influential drum ’n’ bass tunes of all time.
It's a throwback to the past, taking great inspiration from artists made in oldskool Metalheadz.

He loves warm sub bass and weighty homemade breaks and that passion has gained him the attention of Young NRG.
It's time to get to know K Slat debut single for Young NRG with ‘Surfing’ first up.
