In this powerful episode of Black Table Talk, we embark on an inspiring journey with Joel Caston, a man who has defied the odds and emerged as a beacon of hope and transformation. Joel's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the potential for redemption, even in the face of unimaginable adversity. Joel Caston's life took an unexpected turn when he found himself entangled in the criminal justice system at a young age. He spent over two decades behind bars, facing the harsh realities of life as an incarcerated individual. But instead of succumbing to despair, Joel made a conscious choice to use his time in prison to grow, learn, and evolve. Through self-reflection and a deep commitment to personal development, Joel Caston transformed himself while incarcerated. He dedicated himself to education, self-improvement, and helping others within the prison community. As a result, he earned a college degree and became an advocate for criminal justice reform from behind prison walls.
