The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, NSFAS has promised to intervene in the ongoing accommodation crisis following widespread protests by students at several universities. Students from Wits, UKZN and TUT have been protesting over NSFAS' R45 000 cap for residence, financial and academic exclusion.
