NSW CYCLING THROUGH THE AGES: SPLINTERS 54
Here on Splinters, we love a good stat so here is one for
you: Did you know that Cycling is the 5th biggest participation Sport in Australia?
You wouldn't tell that from our crew. Did you also know that Organised cycling
has been running in NSW for over 100 years?
So to celebrate the growth and history of Cycling in
Australia, The Raging Bull has donned some very unflattering Lycra and has
joined the peloton with a very special guest in the form of the (unofficial)
Historian of the Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club, Warren Donnelly, where they will go
over one of the biggest archiving projects in NSW Cycling History.
They will talk about some of the old big events,
a quick mention of the state of cycling around the world and in Australia and
where you can help contribute to what could be the starting point of an amazing
publication.
