This week we switch from the synoptic gospels and turn our attention to a few chapters in the Gospel of John. We hear that the brothers of Jesus had a hard time believing his message. Jesus offers living water.  We'll hear the famous saying of Jesus about casting the first stone. A bunch of religious leaders get really irritated by the choices Jesus makes about Sabbath day observance, like healing a blind man. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and has "other sheep" beyond the Holy Land.
