NTBoardGames presents...

UnPub is wrapped up so Adam and CJ sit down for a little recap as well as diving into Asmodee's recent business practices. There is also a mini "State of the Union" for board games, just to say how great they are. As a bonus, if you own a copy of Karuba, you can play along and see if you can match scores.

Adam and CJ sit down with game designer Paul from Truly Epic Games. Paul's brains are picked on the many parts of the designing process and influence that board games have had over him. It is all about the designers in our mini "Road to UnPub" journey.

Game Played: Rumble in the Dungeon

After a little "vacation" and technical issues, Adam and CJ are back to talk about components and whether they are innovation or just another gimmick. What makes something a trend and what makes it a cash grab? Join them as they discuss this and try to stay on topic. Stay on topic!

Game played: Star Wars: Empire vs Rebellion (not really)

The conclusion to our first episode is here. We find our characters running out of the SoulStone Saloon but what will become of our characters Travin, Dierklyn, Esme, Calinore, and Domopholys? How will "Dom's" first piece of Destiny come to fruition?

The bar fight continues! Punches are flying, whips are snapping, and some people are still trying to keep the peace. Find out how the brawl in the saloon ends and which side ends out on top.

When we last left our characters, the seemingly easy job of signing a contract had just turned sour. Narrative Time is over, now it is Dramatic Time. Mister and his bodyguards don't take too kindly to the union workers and Malachai. How will this saloon fight end?

Sometimes you need to kick back and have some fun, so CJ and Adam take some time to talk about party games; from necessary features to deal breakers, party games is what is on the menu. Special nod to Antidote.

Game played: Tsuro

Meet our characters as the Fate Master takes Calinore, Dierklyn, Domopholys, Esme, and Traven on their first journey together with their employer Bruno's Facilitorium Unlimited. What will become of Domopholys first piece of destiny?
