Nu Choons

Huh? What’s this? Mashup?! What you on about jdnb?! Ok, so here’s the deal. I was so impressed with my track selection for Episode 014 (hehe) that I decided to record a mix of the tracks just for you. I’m not going to do this for every podcast I put out, but if the choons go together as well as these do, well, expect more mashups to follow! I should also come clean and let you know that this was all digital – didn’t touch the 1s and 2s at all. I’ve wanted to record a mix using nothing but Traktor Scratch Pro and my X1 controller. So here you go!

Might as well keep with tradition and type out the track listing…

Subway Funk – Zenith (from the Stacking Units LP) – Extent Recordings Group (EXTVIPGLP001)

Human Factor and T-Muniz – Night Light (from Brazillian Connections LP) – Anarchy In The Funk (ANARCHY014)

Dave Schichman and Dave Owen – Tight Polite – LuvDisaster Records (LUV024)

Corrections: Man, this is doing nothing for our reputation… right, so you know how I said back in episode #004 that Silk Recordings wasn’t Australian, but rather Russian? Well I owe the DJ Brons (and Silk Recordings!) an apology. It is Australian – http://www.myspace.com/silkrecordings – and I quote… “We are an all new Australian/New Zealand Drum Bass label located in Melbourne Australia.” I blame discogs.com (or wherever I read that it was Russian…)
