Girl Scout is a 106 year old youth group specifically for girls. It is a very popular program among girls. I myself was a Girl Scout in elementary school. These Girl Scout troops are often based in schools and the troop members are schoolgirls. We do things to help out with the environment and world, such as organizing a beach cleanup or something like that. Each troop, depending on age, has its own activities or jobs to accomplish. The meeting theme was often related to our own lives some way. I remembered we learned first aid, table manners, and we visited a bank to learn how they work behind the window. After every job was done, we earned a badge to pin on our girl scout vest, which was our uniform. The color and style of the girl scout changed every year.
