In the first of a series of episodes on election challenges, we speak with Mary Nelson, lawyer and activists from St. Louis, MO, who worked in the administration of Democratic former governor, Jay Nixon. We talk about candidates who are supported by a major party and what their election challenges can be. Nelson was still in the administration when the civil disturbances in St. Louis broke out after the death of Michael Brown at the hands of the police.

This is the second part of the discussion of Black Home Ownership. In this episode explore how bank policies affect Black Home ownership, and help create racially disparate lending practices.
