When Mariah and Number 16 left their belongings in a storage unit at the beginning of the summer, they didn't bother packing their items into separate boxes. Why would they? Soon enough, they'd be back to pick up where they left off. The only thing that would change after a summer working seasonal jobs in Alaska would be their bank accounts.

Alas, things didn't turned out as planned. The following September, they found themselves extricating their belongings from a series of shared cardboard boxes, just a couple months after Mariah broke up with Number 16 via satellite phone.
