Numbers Chapter 28:9-31, Episode 171

Listen Later

In this episode we finished Chapter 28 where Moses continues to remind the new generation of the sacrifices they were expected to make, and the feast they were required to observe when they get into the promised land. They were required to do daily, weekly, and monthly offerings plus offerings during their festivals (feast). God had them do all these feast and offerings so that they would ever remember all that God had done for them. The three main feast were Passover (reminding them of their deliverance from Egyptian slavery), Pentecost (reminding of God’s provision), and the feast of Tabernacles (reminding them how God was with them in the wilderness as they lived in shelters). For us one thing the Passover represents is how His blood delivered us from sin, Pentecost represents us thanking God for His natural provisions and the gift of His Holy Spirit, Tabernacle means dwelling, so the feast of Tabernacles would represent God dwelling with us. #canaan #bookofnumbers #moses #4you #pentecost #passover #tabernacles #sacrifices #offerings #sabbath  @readingthroughthebiblewith3242
