Erica M. delivers a short but powerful interview. Christopher and Erica discuss how this young nurse from a small town in Mississippi arrived with a big dream and came to become president of the Georgia Nurses Association (president-elect during time of the interview), her first meeting during Nurses Week, her passions, and details on how nurses can be a part of the GNA. Erica is the epitome of the saying, ‘closed mouths don’t get fed.’

Ms. Jones shares her story of when her nursing career began, projects she is working on, and scholarship opportunities from nursing associations. The interview heavily focuses on the “older” nurse and hopes to inspire older individuals who want to take a career pivot in later age and become a nurse. Wanda shows that it is never too late to follow your dreams. This is her story.
