About This Episode
Could something in your environment be contributing to the way you feel?
In this final BONUS episode of our Root Causes of Fatigue series, we step outside the body and look at something we don't always think about when we're trying to understand chronic fatigue: our environment.
We are constantly exposed to things in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the products we use, and the spaces where we live and work. For some people, certain environmental exposures may become an important piece of the fatigue puzzle.
In this episode of Nurturing Body & Spirit, Shelbie explores how environmental factors - including mold, mycotoxins, and other chemicals - may interact with the body's stress response, immune system, inflammation, sleep, and energy levels.
We'll also talk about why environmental health can be complicated, why symptoms don't always point to one obvious cause, and why looking at the environment may be worth considering when fatigue doesn't have an easy explanation.
This episode isn't about being afraid of everything around you.
It's about becoming more aware.
Because sometimes, when we've looked at everything happening inside the body, we also need to ask:
“What is the body being exposed to?”
And as we wrap up the Root Causes of Fatigue series, remember:
Your body isn't broken. Sometimes we just need to look at the whole picture—including the environment around you.
