The 2016 election was supposed to be a “no brainer,” decided by the liberal mainstream media, not voters. Hillary’s victory would make the media elite co-rulers as America’s queen-makers. It would assure media power as fourth estate co-rulers of the permanent, unelected Deep State.

Many in our media are now going insane because Hillary Clinton – and her media comrades – lost.

President Donald Trump is succeeding. He appears likely to lead the Republican Party to victory in the 2018 elections and to continue dismantling the leftist policies of media darling President Barack Obama.

What the media find most galling, however, is that – through their own high-handed arrogance and stupidity – they helped make Donald Trump president.

The mainstream media gave candidate Trump $2 billion worth of free airtime, the New York Times grimly admits. Their plan was to give Trump nearly all the free airtime that would have been spread among 16 Republican contenders, most of whom on paper had more political credentials and experience than he did.

In other words, the liberal media tried to interfere with our democracy – much as they now accuse Russia of doing – by giving the Republican nomination to the GOP’s “weakest” contender so Hillary could easily win.

The media planned to turn against Trump the moment he was nominated. They knew they had a recording of his provocative sexual remarks back in 2006 (before Trump changed from Democrat to Republican in 2009) that would destroy the GOP nominee.

But when the media tried to destroy Trump, they discovered they had created a political star too bright to extinguish. Their sex tape and other smears were brushed aside by almost 63 million American voters who wanted change, not more of the brain-dead, arrogant leftism of Clinton and Obama that wants to replace the American nation with borderless global government.

The liberal media also helped rig the Democratic nomination for Clinton by downplaying the surprising rise of self-described socialist septuagenarian Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

An old-fashioned leftist who once honeymooned in the Soviet Union, Sanders at least stood forthrightly for his historically discredited ideas – and won enthusiastic support from many idealistic young Democrats.

The media suppressed evidence that Clinton secretly controlled and manipulated Democratic National Committee spending and used unelected “super delegates” to assure her nomination.

When Sanders demanded another debate with her over such issues, Clinton agreed – and then reneged, fearful that her dishonesty and Sanders’ geriatric charisma would beat her.

Bernie Sanders grouchily accepted defeat, and for the past two years has earned more than $1 million per year. He is among the top 1 percent of wealth earners targeted for confiscatory taxation by young socialists whom the head of the DNC now calls “the future of the Democratic Party.”
