نون - الموسم الثاني

قبل شهرٍ واحد من طوفان الأقصى، شاءت المصادفة أن تصدر رواية أسمى العطاونة "صورة مفقودة"، باللغة الإنكليزية، والتي تتحدث فيها الروائية الفلسطينية عن حياتها داخل مخيّم لاجئين في غزّة، تحت وطأة الاحتلال وفساد السلطة، وصولاً إلى مغادرتها القطاع لتبدأ رحلتها كفلسطينية مغتربة عن أرضها ومتمسكة بقضيتها، اليوم أكثر من أي وقتٍ مضى.
كان أهل أسمى في الأصل نزحوا من صحراء النقب نحو غزة عام 1948، تلك الصحراء نفسها التي شهدت عملية 7 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر وحفلة "الرايف" الشهيرة... فكيف تصف أسمى لـ"نون" حياتها خلال الإبادة الأخيرة التي يتعرّض لها أهلها في غزة؟ ماذا تقول عن تجارب الفلسطينيين/ات في الخارج، وتحديداً في أوروبا وفرنسا؟

One month before the "Al-Aqsa Flood", fate had it that Asmaa Al-Atawneh's novel "A Long Walk from Gaza" was translated and released in English. In this novel, the Palestinian writer talks about her life inside a refugee camp in Gaza, under the weight of occupation and the corruption of authorities, until she leaves the enclave to begin her journey as a diaspora Palestinian, while holding on to her cause, now more than ever. Originally, Asmaa's family had been displaced from the Negev Desert to Gaza in 1948, the same desert that witnessed the October 7th operation and the famous "Rave" party...
How does Asmaa describe her life while her people and loved ones are subjected to genocidal crimes back home in Gaza? What does she say about the experiences of Palestinians abroad, specifically in Europe and France?

In this episode of 'Noon', the story of Lebanese writer and journalist Badia Fahs embodies how women undergo both the consequences of war and gender-based violence simultaneously, and how the unjust deprivation of the custody of her son Ali continues to shape her decisions, whether big or small, the latest being the decision to return to the South while it suffers from the impact of Israeli bombardment, and while its residents suffer daily risks and threats to their security, homes, and livelihoods.
