  • Creative Sunday post: Imagine Dragons - Believer. Song cover by Nwothini335
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=nwothini335/glxmgydu
    Hello everyone.
    It is another round of creative Sunday and today, I decided to rest from cooking.
    I guess you all know the song Believer by Imagine Dragons yeah? That one that sounds motivational. Well, I did a song cover and I added some beats with lovely cuts.
    It is not perfect though but I think it's worth sharing. Mistakes brings about perfection. Hehe
    In the video, I covered the first verse and the lady verse because I did not want the video length to be long.
    The best i ussd was gotten from [here](https://v13.mp3juices.click/convert).

    **FIRST VERSE**
    First things first
    I'ma say all the words inside my head
    I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh-ooh
    The way that things have been, oh-ooh
    Second thing second
    Don't you tell me what you think that I could be
    I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea, oh-ooh
    The master of my sea, oh-ooh
    I was broken from a young age
    Taking my sulking to the masses
    Writing my poems for the few
    That look at me, took to me, shook to me, feeling me
    Singing from heartache from the pain
    Taking my message from the veins
    Speaking my lesson from the brain
    Seeing the beauty through the...
    **CHORUS**
    Pain!
    You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
    Pain!
    You break me down and build me up, believer, believer
    Pain
    Oh, let the bullets fly, oh, let them rain
    My life, my love, my drive, it came from...
    Pain!
    You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
    **LAST VERSE**
    Last things last
    By the grace of fire and flames
    You're the face of the future, the blood in my veins, oh-ooh
    The blood in my veins, oh-ooh
    But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing
    Inhibited, limited 'til it broke open and rained down
    It rained down, like...

  • Steps to make a simple okra soup. A creative Sunday post.
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=nwothini335/toscqdxm
    The advent of creative Sunday has showcased the raw talent of hivers, mainly the hive learners community members.
    Initially skeptical about this day because I don't know what to present, I found interest and love for cooking.
    Last week, I shared a recipe of how I made pancakes and I covered it with a spiced pepper sauce.
    This week, I want to share how I prepared a delicious okra soup and eba with limited resources and ingredients.
    I started by gathering everything I needed for the soup which includes okra which is the main ingredient, vegetable (ugwu leaves), palm oil stock fish, ice fish, seasoning like maggi, salt, pepper and kitchen glory, garri (cassava parfait) and water.
    ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmPrrQHvddfPR1FmbDgvu1ocCbLkyXFm6Aw1fdum2HxwGc/img_20240218_122127_837.jpg)
    * I cut my okra and vegetable into tiny pieces
    * Next, I boiled the fish and stock fish with a little seasoning
    * I placed a dry pot on fire and added the palm oil
    * I added the stock fish and fried for a few seconds
    * I added the okra to fry then I added the water from the fish
    * I allowed to steam
    * I spiced it up, then added some water.
    * I added my fish and allowed to boiled for some time
    * Next, I added the vegetable, stirred and allowed to boil.
    * After about 10 seconds, I brought down the soup from the fire as it was ready for consumption.
    **HOW I MADE EBA**

    * I poured water into a kettle and placed on fire to boil
    * I poured the boiled water into a container
    * I added the cassava parfait to reach he level of the water.
    * I turned the parfait inside the water until a solid texture was achieved. A little bit more solid than a mashed potato.
    After that, I dished the eba in a flat plate and scooped the soup ready to be served.

    These are the process I followed in other to achieve this dish.

    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=nwothini335/tgmizrrq
    Its another round of creative Sunday and I am out again to show you the process of how I made pancakes this Sunday.
    I've been thinking and I decided to come up with my own recipe for making pancakes.
    ![IMG_20240211_101149_12.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nwothini335/23wgRuYoayL5bmyqsi1xnYdX8pmWdcoFoKxrG5UVrAbMz7Ziw6i5xFKQ1RwdujEVfPTP6.jpg)
    I gathered the needed ingredients which are:
    ![IMG_20240211_091209_351.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nwothini335/EoAaHcHt2Xe1Jq4cWoauArkwhpq7ooRhMUYLA31NNFcpNXyZMTkEobsdLDZcmXrGUpR.jpg)
    * Floor
    * Milk
    * Chocolate
    * Sugar
    * Onion
    * Sachet Tomato
    * Grinded pepper
    * Salt and Maggi
    * Nchoanwu leaf. *I don't know the English name of this leaf*
    * Egg and
    *Groundnut oil
    I made two things today, pancakes and some sauce for pancakes.
    **MAKING THE PANCAKES**
    1. Sieve the floor into a container to remove any unwanted stuffs from it.
    2. Add the milk, chocolate and egg into the sieved floor.
    3. Stir
    5. Add water and stir. Let the mixture be semi solid and not watery.
    6. Make sure the mixture is smooth
    7. Place a fry pan on the fire
    8. Add a little groundnut oil. About one table spoon.
    9. Put the mixture into the oiled pan.
    10. Remove the edges from the pot as I did in the video.
    11. Allow the bottom to get cooked then flip so the top will be cooked also.
    12. Allow the top to get cooked then bring down from fire.
    **MAKING THE SAUCE**
    After dicing the onion and preparing everything as I did in the video.
    1. Add a little groundnut oil in the pan
    2. Add a little of the sachet tomato and stir
    3. Add onion and stir
    4. Add the whole tomato, stir and add some water.
    5. Add the leaf, stir and cover to cook.
    6. Add the maggi, salt and every thing needed.
    7. Add egg, stir and allow to cook for about 40 seconds.
    8. Put of the fire.
    **COMBINING BOTH**
    1. Use a cup or any thing you have to make the pancakes have a round shape like I did in the video
    2. Take one slice
    3. Add the sauce in the slice
    ![IMG_20240211_100931_942.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nwothini335/Eoptt8aCQ7ny2MqCgo933KvNVAGUWnzSThMxaD7wkuVenoTffb4AJ8QckE1ASNrGqng.jpg)
    4. Take another slice and cover the slice with the sauce.
    ![IMG_20240211_101012_730.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nwothini335/EpA5UsuAiCYXGGsKB6jrM1kMEh6sknmnex7MJGnVWPZVufkogXXCeuvfVK9ZwNi3JVe.jpg)
    *Lol, the slice with the sauce 😹*

  • How to make economical okra soup as a student
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=nwothini335/qwrzlotr
    Hello everyone and welcome to my post.
    It's a nother Sunday and I would love to share with everyone the process I used to achieve a delicious okra soup.
    Okra soup is a Nigerian dish which can be used to eat any thing like eba, wheat, semovita, tuwo, Amala, e.t.c
    **THE PROCESS**
    First off, I gathered all i needed and these includes:
    * Fresh okra
    * Fresh and Grinded dry pepper
    * Fresh fish
    * Ugwu leaves
    * Palm oil
    * Onion
    * Maggi and
    * Salt
    After slicing the okra, grinding the fresh pepper and boiling the ice fish with maggi, salt and some of the grinded fresh pepper, I did the following:
    * Put a dry pot on fire and added the palm oil
    * Fried the sliced onion and pepper
    * Waited for some time then added the okra to the boiling oil containing the onion and pepper
    * Stirred very well
    * Added the fish water and allowed to cook with the wish water until it got dried
    * Added plain water to the desired extent, then I added the maggi, salt, and dried grinded pepper
    * Allowed to boil for some time
    * Added the fresh fish and allow to boil
    * Do not cover the pot because the okra will loose it's slimy characteristics. The only time to cover is when the soup gets cold.
    * after some minutes of boiling, add the vegetable that is, the ugwu leaves
    * Stir gently and allow to boil
    * After a few minutes of boiling, bring soup down from fire.
    These are the simple steps I took in other to make this soup.
    After the process of making the soup, I decided to prepare eba.
    I boiled hot water, turn in a bowl and added my garri then stirred till it became thick.
    I immediately started thinking of a design on my eba afterwards and this design came to mind. 👇

    *I think I need to go learn food photography*
    After designing the eba, I served with he soup.
