Dr. Maggie Smith works at Kyowa Kirin as a National Director within Medical Affairs, leading the North America Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) program. 

Dr. Smith’s clinical knowledge comes from her first-hand experience at the prestigious University of Chicago Hospitals, where she worked as a, Charge Nurse on the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) overflow unit and as a Clinical Research Associate, working on various Phase 1-3, oncology clinical trials and currently she still practices per diem.   Dr. Smith also writes for an online oncology nursing journal, highlighting oncology topics in the Oncology Nursing News.
