Thanks to the snowmakers more ski areas are open in fact 28 ski areas are open today with Four Seasons, Holimont, Labrador, Maple Ski Ridge, Mount Peter and Swain kicking off their seasons today! Forget the shopping at the plaza or mall, buy a gift card or other merchandise at a ski area retail shop for those you need that special something for and get some runs in!

Hello Skiers and riders here is your ski report for Saturday heading into a nice weekend. Today Peek 'n Peak Resort, Plattekill Mountain and perhaps West Mountain plan to open their seasons today. Other ski areas are planning on opening next week.

Hello Skiers and riders here is your ski report for Friday heading into a nice weekend. Today we have Oak Mountain and Titus Mountain starting their ski season! Conditions are looking good with general machine groomed packed powder and loose granular surfaces. If you see a snowmaker out there on slopes be sure to thank them for their hard work, I'm sure they would appreciate it. They work hard at all hours to help put the snow on the slopes, in New York we have greatest snowmaking around. Hopefully mother nature will start cooperating soon too more frequently.
