Most people think we need much more protein than we do. it's partly because our food industry wants us to believe that but also because scientific facts take a long time to become general knowledge.
Answer: we only need ~0.5-0.8 gr of protein per Kg we WANT to weigh. If you want to weigh 60 (what your body tells you you are the best, not the billboards) x 0.5 for a normal day with about 30 min running exercice, it comes to only 30 great. That's all you need! If you eat more you will likely store it.
