How to get a renewed mind:

1. Offer yourself fully to God.
2. Be willing to let go of old paradigms.
3. As the Holy Spirit to give you God's paradigm.
4. Test your thinking with acts of obedience.

1. Resistance to community makes our lives hollow
2. Being part of a church isn’t about showing up, it’s about being shaped
3. Jesus forms us through one another
4. Encouragement is not a personality trait, it’s a mandate

Who has God placed in my life to help form Christ in me?

2. Nurture a heart of love for God.

1. Godliness is intimacy with Jesus that releases power into your life and results in outward signs of devotion.
2. Godliness does more to provide for a successful life than any other characteristic.
3. Godliness prepares you to enjoy eternity.

1. God has provided for you to have a new and restored life.
2. Your new life begins when you trust and desire the life God intends for you.
3. Focus your mind on the life you now long for.
4. Your actions will follow your heart and your mind to experience your new life.

If you want God to renew and shape your life you must...

1. ...deny yourself.
2. ...take up your cross.
3. ...follow Jesus.

Scripture: John 21:1-19

1. Doing things our own way leads to disappointment
2. Jesus invites us to follow him with FRESH obedience
3. When Jesus gives the direction, we never need to fear
4. Even when we go our own way, Jesus seeks to restore us.
