The Olympics showcases sports you didn't even know existed. 

For less popular sports, it's an opportunity to recruit both athletes and fans. 

For example, the US rowing team brought home the bronze medal in the "Men's Eight" this past weekend, and gold in "Men's Four." 

Some of those rowers train on the Oakland Estuary. That's where KCBS Radio reporter Raquel Maria Dillon went to test the waters.
