“Oasis” won the Flying Film Festival Silver Wings Award in 2024. We had a conversation on the project with the director Justine Martin.

The documentary follows Raphaël and Rémi in their summer adventures. As twins, they grew up with a special bond. One of them has a disability and we sense that entering the adolescence will set a different pace in each of their lives, changing their relation too.

Rémi - He's my brother I love him, I spend so much time with him that in my head he doesn't have a handicap, he is like anyone. It's as I slowly grew up that I noticed he was different. Yeah.

Justine - How well does he take care of you?

Raphaël- Very well. He protects me. And that's awsome.
