Scripture: Obadiah, We want the enemies of the Gospel to come to God, but if they reject God then we declare the judgment/condemnation to them by God. In Edom we see an enemy of God's people. At the conclusion of Obadiah we see the prophet pointing to Christ and the establishment of a new Kingdom not of this world. (verse 15). It is interesting that the last of David's military victories is over Edom (2 Samuel 8)
