It is not exactly news that President Obama has engaged in repeated national security fraud. Still, his sheer brazenness in such misconduct with a last-minute commutation of sentence for the traitor once known as Bradley Manning is shocking.

After all, wasn’t it just a week or two ago that Mr. Obama and his partisan/media echo chamber were decrying disclosures by people said to be associated with Russian-tied information operations like Wikileaks? After eight years of basically ignoring such cyber predations, he was actually moved to punish those he deemed responsible.

But now, with just hours remaining in his presidency, Barack Obama has decided to reward another Wikileaks source, who had been sentenced to thirty-five years in prison for the immense damage Manning perpetrated – not against Democratic party operatives, but the country’s security.

The Obama legacy is one of serial betrayal of America.
