At some point in my Christian life, I began using the phrase "obey what you know." It came from this verse in John's Gospel: John 14:21 says "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”

Obedience to Christ doesn't save us, but it is certainly a mark of salvation. If we love Him, we will obey Him. That's what He says. We don't know everything, but we know some things, and if we obey what we know and keep learning His Word, He reveals more of Himself to us. That is amazing.
