To say Claudia Chambers is inspiring would be an understatement. Her passion for helping others feel better eventually led to the creation y Respira Yoga Studio, which she built in the backyard of her home.Claudia also manages a Skincare business that operates out of the same studio. Multi-tasking certainly does not intimidate her. Before we met up for this interview, I would have sworn there is about ten other businesses she runs. It just seems that way when you know her. It’s most likely because she’s always going, always moving, and always doing.

However what is most impressive about Claudia is her ability to make things happen and do what she loves regardless of any negativity that may be thrown her way from others. Even if those “others” happen to be some of the people closest to her. I have known Claudia for a long time but this is something I just learned through the interview. I’m glad we had a chance to hone in on the topic of “detractors”.  I am sure the personal anecdotes Claudia shares will help anyone who is in a similar situation, surrounded by people who say you can’t or you shouldn’t.

Aside from being an Obscure Entrepreneur, Claudia is a wife to a great guy named Chris and mother to an awesome little girl named Victoria. Her love for family is never hidden.

Jeffrey Pointer started TUT (The Underground Tribe) while in high school. Under Jeffrey’s leadership, what began as a small collective of artists utilizing creative expression to enhance youth culture has turned into an all out movement grounded on uplifting people through art and live events.

At 19 years old Jeffrey has already managed to bring some of the biggest names in underground music from all over the country to his hometown of Raleigh, NC for rare performances that he describes as emotionally transformative experiences for many fans. This is in addition to curating art hang outs, hosting creative workshops, designing clothes, shooting photos, and much more. New ventures on the horizon include routing an east coast tour and managing up and coming artists he feels will add a layer of positivity to “the scene.” He attributes his success to being comfortable living with the fear of failure. This is an important message that we hone in on during the interview.

It’s difficult to say exactly who Jeffrey is or what he does. If you ask him about being a “promoter” or an “entrepreneur”, he might look at you sideways. He thinks in terms of creativity and purpose. To sum it up, when I first met Jeffrey about 6 months ago my natural inclination was to start asking about what his next moves are and how is he producing shows featuring artists that would seemingly have no interest in performing outside of big cities like New York or LA. He politely stopped me and said “All that matters is I’m out here trying to elevate the youth.” My first question that day should have been “WHY?”.
