I ran out to the old church after receiving Claire’s text. When I arrived, the door was open. How did she get it open? It’s been locked for years. I saw Claire standing at the back of the church. When I called out to her, she ran down stairs behind the altar. Down the stairs was a flooded room. As I went further in, a pure white light began to shine bright. Soon I realized I wasn’t in a room. It felt like I was outside. Claire was standing there motioning with her hands. Deep down I felt like I should have gone back, but I approached her. The only thing she said was “Can you keep my secret?” Afterward everything went black. I could hear voices around me. It was the sherrifs. I must have been transported to the local hospital. I went out to the old church. Claire wasn’t there waiting for me. I waited for about 2 hours before heading home. I must have dozed off. I awoke around 4am after having a weird dream. I tried calling Claire but got her voicemail. Afterward there was a knock at the door, but no one was there. After closing the door and walking back to my bedroom, I found a piece of paper on the floor. A crudely drawn “eye” was on it. Very creepy. Afterward Claire sends me a picture of the old church door, but the door was open. It’s been locked for years…she must have found a way to open it.
