May is Mental Health Awareness month, so it's the perfect time to talk about OCD.
I wanted to address the good and the bad of OCD, as well as how it's mistakenly portrayed throughout most of pop-culture. A lot of you guys have also asked me to talk about organization tips, which fits into this episode PERFECTLY. I love being clean and organized; it makes me feel like the world is safe and warm and fuzzy and I don't have to light things on fire.
While I have no problem making fun of myself and I cope with basically everything with fucked up humor, OCD is often the butt of the joke for a lot of people who don't have it. I don't mind it at all, but some people have OCD that is so debilitating coupled with anxiety and other issues that it can be impossible for them to even leave the house at times. Others have super mild cases, like me, and live a relatively normal if not sometimes just a bit wacky life.
This episode is allllllll about insight (and how to trick your boyfriend into being more organized without him knowing it).
