Welcome to a brand new series of A Shot of Strange.

In this series I’m going to investigate the posthumous life of the UKs most famous bog body and I’m going to do it through the lens of the campaign song, Lindow Man We Want You Back. The song was part of the campaign to return Lindow from London back to the north of England where he was discovered. I will talk to people involved in the making of the song – the children who sang in the choir, the producer and I’ll even speak to Lindow Man himself! How will I speak to someone who has been dead for 2000 years? Tune in and find out.

Starting on February 15th comes The Bloke From the Bog – The Lindow Man Investigation. Exploring the way we can conjure the dead back to life through pop songs, children’s choirs and cool T-shirts.

The final part of this big cat investigation. We go on a second field trip into the wilderness of Lincolnshire to find evidence of an anomalous big cat. But what do we discover? What are our overall conclusions after having explored this topic for the last few months?
