Mental illnesses tend to afflict people who are unusually sensitive and aware—people who have an abundance of intelligence and emotional connectedness---and mental illnesses are best thought of, not as deficiencies, but as ‘inverted’ capabilities.

A fiction-based but still legitimate illustration of the principle that the behavior of the individuals composing a given institution tends to mirror the behavior of that institution as a whole.

The number one rule of successful entrepreneurship is: be true to yourself. Successful businesses are organic extensions of their owners. This holds even of psychopaths who are running fraudulent businesses. For a psychopath is someone who has no identity and therefore must manufacture identities, and that is what he is doing when he is running a fake business.

An analysis of criminality

Religion represents the convergence of spirituality and rationality. Religion, in other words, is rationalized spirituality; it is spirituality that is subject to a kind of Euclidean axiomatization.
