A special day here at Ocean FM as Santa Claus himself came to visit!

Two north Sligo neighbouring GAA clubs, St Molaise Gaels and Drumcliffe/Rosses Point, are playing a charity game 'An Classac' next Tuesday, Dec 27th, to raise money for the suicide prevention group, North West Stop. Ocean FM Sport spoke to Nicola O'Connor (North West Stop), Edwin Mullane & Peter Wilson (St Molaise Gaels) and John Harvey (Drumcliffe/Rosses Point) about the event.

Sligo Grammar School senior captain Conor Creaven on Monday's 10-3 victory over Summerhill College in the first ever all-Sligo Connacht Schools 'A' league final.

Several players from both schools are also team-mates at Sligo Rugby Club.

The Mayor of Sligo, Cllr Tom MacSharry, has confirmed that all parking charges in Sligo Town are suspended from today for the next two weeks, and no one will have to pay for parking. There has been confusion over an apparent two-hour limit on such free parking
