The HSE has confirmed that the Covid vaccination centre at IT Sligo was closed for four days last Easter weekend, a situation which has been critcised by Deputy Marc MacSharry, who feels the vaccination roll-out process should be a 7-day week one. He says he has suspicions that the North West is being left until last in the administering of vaccines

A problem with the sequencing of traffic lights led to serious delays for motorists in Sligo Town on Tuesday evening. With the roadworks on Hughes Bridge and the Rosses Point continuing, it took one frustrated motorist 1 hour and 35 minutes to travel from the Summerhill roundabout to Henderson's Garage - a distance of just 2km

Rory Mahon and a group from ROM in Sligo are taking part in Remi's 65 Roses Day Challenge on Friday 9th of April. It's all in aid of Cystic Fibrosis, a charity very close to their hearts. Some of the challenge involves a 6.5km run, 6.5km cycle, 65 squats and lots more! Rory spoke to Francie all about it.
