Easkey were crowned Sligo senior hurling champions for 2020 on Sunday when they edged past holders Naomh Eoin by a single point in a rousing county final at Markievicz Park.

The sea blues eventually won by 1-17 to 2-13 with substitute Thomás Cawley's point from near the sideline in the dying moments proving to be the matchwinner.
