  • Sligo Rovers lay off players & staff
    Sligo Rovers have announced they are temporarily laying-off the club’s players, manager and administration staff while the coronavirus outbreak continues.
    30 Rovers personnel are affected by this temporary lay-off. It comprises the entire first-team playing squad, the management team of Liam Buckley, John Russell and Dave Campbell – plus four full-time administration staff at the Showgrounds.
    The club says it is taking this action to help ensure it is ready to resume full activity when the current League of Ireland shutdown comes to an end.
