This episode is a straight up continuation of the last as I didn't want anyone to have to listen to a full hour of me, BUT that doesn't mean there isn't some great stuff in here, that, dare I say, is better than the last two??

In this one we FINALLY address the big issue with the shore crabs, while also, then talk about the benefits, because I can't be too hard on them, no matter how many ecosystems they deverstate!

Following that we round out this adventure with the whole human condition, fear and love in the world of the Carcinus maenas!

Episode 2!

We're back after honestly wayyyy too long!

In this episode we return to our invasive friend the Carcinus maenas, with the intention of finding out what makes it such an incredible invader (watch out for those plastic genes!), and why that can be a bad thing.

We then, of course, get side tracked and talk about my own dissertation and try to figure out what makes them tick. In all honesty I do probably romanticise them a *touch* but it's fine!

Welcome to episode one!

I couldn't think of a better place to start than my favourite little guy, the green shore crab, Carcinus maenas.

In this episode we open Pandoras Rock pool and talk general crab anatomy, their deceptive green shore crab name and their life basics including preferred food and housing options. Exploring how in many ways, Scratching the surface of why they seem to dominate all corners of the globe and exploring how in many ways they are not so different to you and I!

To anyone that listens, thank you so much and I promise this is just the start of this fun little series and with each episode I will work harder to understand the mysteries of technology and improve my scripts, so basically, it's only up from here (not that here is that bad!)
