Episode 5: My First Protest!
Happy Monday! Welcome back to Oceans of Hope. Today’s episode is super exciting for me! A few weeks ago, I went to a protest to speak out against a shark fishing tournament that was happening here in south Florida (shout out to @CadeSavesSharks for bringing it to my attention). I had a really wonderful time getting to add my voice to a cause that I am passionate about, plus it was my first time protesting! In today’s episode, I talk a bit about the background of the tournament that I was protesting, with a few good shark facts, as well as how you can add your voice to causes that you are passionate about. Protesting was really fulfilling for me and I think we should all be adding our voices to causes that we believe in whatever ways we feel comfortable. So, find a cause you believe in and get involved!

Episode 4: Our Planet
Welcome back everyone! Today’s episode is a little bit different than the previous episodes. A few weeks ago, I thought it would be a fun experiment to watch an episode of One Planet on Netflix and record my thoughts as I went along. I had a blast recording this episode! I got to start a new documentary series and learn some new things while chatting with you all. Feel free to watch the episode on your own either before or after listening to this episode. I really enjoyed having David Attenborough talk to me about nature and then sharing my thoughts with you all.

Hello everyone and welcome back to Oceans of Hope! I am so excited about today’s episode! Over Memorial Day weekend I went to a music festival called BottleRock. I came back home really inspired to record and work towards my different goals for myself and the environment. Today’s episode is inspired by that trip and the importance of having balance in our lives.
Not only in balance important for our lives in general and in particular when we want to continue to work towards a climate solution. Having balance in your life helps you to be able to continue to have a lasting impact on your goals and avoid burnout, so it is essential and I am so glad that I am talking about it at the beginning of the podcast!

Episode 2: Sustainable Girl Summer!
Welcome to the Oceans of Hope Family!!! I am so excited to be here with you all and work on living our best sustainable lives. Today’s episode is all about how to be more sustainable this summer.
Summer is such a fun season to get to spend more time outside and connect with the people and world around us. It also comes with its own host of things that aren’t as sustainable as they can be, but with a few easy choices, such as carpooling and using reef-safe sunscreen you can be living your best sustainable summer! As I mentioned in Episode 1, this is a movement and a lifestyle, so it is the little choices we make every day that are the most important thing. I hope you all enjoy this episode and get some insight into how to be a little more sustainable this summer!

Episode 1: Sustainability is a lifestyle!
Welcome to the Oceans of Hope Family!!! I am so excited to be here with you all and work on living our best sustainable lives. Today’s episode is a little bit of me introducing myself and sharing with you my inspiration for this podcast.
So why Oceans of Hope? I want to talk about all of the little things and big things that we can do in our regular lives to be more sustainable and live the best lives that we can for ourselves and for the environment. By changing our lifestyles and incorporating more sustainable practices into our regular lives we can support the environmental movement from the bottom up in a way that feels doable and hopeful. And by having culture that talks about sustainable practices in the same way that we talk about our morning routines I hope to make these changes in our lives feel like any other lifestyle choices that we make all the time!

If you have anyone in your life that doesn’t feel like they are associated with the environmental movement, send me a little description of them, their job, hobbies, etc., and let’s find a way that they are connected to the environmental movement!
