In this, our last sermon in the Faithfully Asked Question series, Rev. Joel tackles two real toughies... "Is reading the Bible literally right or dangerous?" and "How do we deal with other people of faith who disagree on what the Bible says and means?" Joel lets the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7, gives us Jesus' own response to these two questions.

Rev. Joel responds to the faithfully asked question, "How do we focus on the beautiful when bombarded with the cruel?" We find Jesus' responses to cruel differ depending on the source and victim of the cruelty. Matthew 4, John 8, and Luke 6 help us follow Christ's example.
