Following the Holy Spirit's arrival at Pentecost, the early disciples began teaching and preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ. People of all nationalities were coming to faith in Jesus. Luke records the first time these disciples faced imprisonment and persecution. How they dealt with this adversity is a lesson for missional believers.
