"Who Am I? Teenage Identity Crisis"
Guest: Brian Pace & Nathan Meng
Allen and is joined by Brian Pace and Nathan Meng to explore the current trends and issues with adolescents
as they develop their own personal identities. The issue of "who I am" is very important, particularly during
adolescence. This identity development may include the adoption of a set of values and ideals, a sexual
orientation or gender identity, religious beliefs, cultural significance, and a vocational direction. Those
with a well-developed identity give a sense of one's strengths, weaknesses and an individual uniqueness.
Those with a less well-developed identity are not able to define his or her personal strengths and
weaknesses, and do not have a well articulated sense of self.
