In this solo episode Meagan shares the other big reason October tends to be a difficult month; breast cancer awareness month and all those pretty pink ribbons that can sting something fierce. Awareness is so very important and we want to respect that, however to someone who is living with terminal breast cancer the awareness piece can feel a bit hollow. Meagan's older sister has been living with Metastatic Breast Cancer for over 2 years now and was diagnosed at stage IV (only 6% of female breast cancer patients are stage IV at diagnosis) Meagan shares her thoughts and shock of those initial days and how life has changed since and her unapologetic feedback about the topic.
