2 min - MOVIES: Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. The ritual involves a boulder stolen from Stonehenge, the use of Silver Shamrock masks and a triggering device contained in a television commercial -- all designed to kill millions of children.
We loved Halloween so much, we're jumping straight into number 3. 'The one without Michael Myers' as it's more widely known (when technically he is actually in it), this was received poorly by critics but found a cult audience - why? Let's find out.

1 hr 51 min - MOVIES: Halloween (1978)
On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister, Judith. He was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. But on October 30, 1978, while being transferred for a court date, a 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes Smith's Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he looks for his next victims.
Happy Halloween everyone! Stay odd!

Wait was that Danny Trejo? Have a listen.

28 min - MUSIC: Hit & a Sh*t - Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl - is he still the man that Dan and I fell in love with back in the Nirvana days? How have the band progressed through the years and what's some of the best and worst songs that they have done (in our humble opinion).

About Oddcast: Movies, Music & Gaming
From the publisher's feed
Movies, music and gaming from the stranger edges of popular culture.
Childhood friends Sam LeGassick and Dan Gallagher have spent more than 30 years sharing an appreciation for things that…
sit just outside the mainstream — cult movies, strange games, overlooked records, brilliant failures and the occasional inexplicable oddity.
Each episode of Oddcast takes on something different. Sometimes it's a film we love. Sometimes it's an album, artist or game. Sometimes it's something so bizarre we just need to work out what the hell happened.
You don't need to know the subject beforehand. We'll fill you in, dig into its history and then inevitably pull it apart.
The good. The bad. The intentionally ugly.
Welcome to Oddcast.
