Mike is back, and this time to talk a little XFL football, which has been scratching the itch for football fans across the country. XFL CEO and Commissioner Oliver Luck comes on first to talk about the state of the league, rule changes, the coaches, and of course some of the standout players and plays of the season so far.Next, DC Defenders Head Coach and General Manager Pep Hamilton comes on to discuss the Defenders 2-0 start, assess his team, and the adjustments going from college and the NFL to the XFL.

On our return episode, Mike is down in New Orleans for the Risen Star Stakes at Fair Grounds and he is joined by some stars of the horse racing industry.Trainers Steve Asmussen, Blaine Wright, Michael Stidham, and jockey Florent Geroux come on the pod to talk their seasons so far, Fair Grounds racing this weekend, and how they see the talent-laden field will shape out for the Risen Star Stakes as we enter the exciting Kentucky Derby qualifying season.

As the NFL season winds down, Odds and Ends heats up. Mike is joined by a very special guest: Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Russell discusses the Seahawks big year, the emergence of his teammates, and what he focuses on during his MVP-caliber season. All of this and some personal stories from Russell's Wisconsin connection. It's the homestretch of the NFL season and on this episode of Odds and Ends, Mike is first joined by Minnesota Vikings offensive guard Pat Elflein. Pat discusses the Vikings' surging run game and the process of transitioning from center and how he has used his his past experiences to translate his play at guard this year. Then former NFL Pro Bowler and current Tennessee Titans WR coach Rob Moore comes on the pod to discuss the soaring Titans and his position group, including the emerging rookie A.J. Brown, as well as the huge AFC South match-up versus the Texans this week.

On the triumphant return of Odds and Ends, Mike is first joined by Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Bobby Johnson. Bobby and Mike discuss the Bills' exciting year, his unit's high-level of play so far this season, and how this weekend's match-up versus Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
