On the surface, Tahnoon Murtza is just like all of us. He’s a business student who enjoys family time enjoys doing charity work. But in his professional life, Tahnoon is anything but ordinary. At age 21, he’s a partner at Brock Capital, a private equity firm that manages over $9 billion in assets. He’s also the founder of ReCommune, an AI platform that helps senior citizens combat loneliness.
“I think it boils down to being shameless,” Tahnoon says, when asked about how he does it. “Do not afraid to put yourself out there and walk yourself in doors that maybe you don't belong in.” These ideas have allowed Tahnoon to meet some very important people: the Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Bosnia and Herzegovina, for example. With a strong network, he’s now beginning his foray into politics. On the Build to Last podcast, Tahnoon shares with Ethan what got him here, and where he’s headed next, along with a fun story of how he met the one and only Jordan Belfort as a teenager.
